Peniček Zapico Building Project

The Peniček Zapico Building Project is an architectural initiative focused on experimenting with rounded building shapes to assess their impact on the natural environment. This project starts from the hypothesis that rounded structures not only integrate more seamlessly into the landscape but also interact harmoniously with the surroundings, minimizing disturbances to airflow and natural light patterns. The project employs two color schemes to explore visual impact: red, to create a high-contrast effect that accentuates the building’s presence in the environment, and green, aiming for a more subtle fusion with the natural landscape for a mimetic effect.
By using these colors and forms that mimic organic structures, the Peniček Zapico Building Project seeks to redefine how buildings interact with their surroundings. This experimentation represents a new path toward architecture that prioritizes not only functionality and aesthetics but also respect for the environment and the natural landscape.
